You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
Scope
- Planning processes and activities for the implementation of new machining lines, defining processes, machinery, and tools.
- Creating and maintaining work instructions, packaging methods, and manufacturing specifications.
- Troubleshooting and improving current manufacturing processes, cycle times, quality index, and input costs.
- Essential attention to Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEMs (BMW, Stellantis, Tesla, Audi, GM, Ford).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BOM management, Takt Time calculation, and packaging processes.
- Coordinating projects implementation in the plant together with US and Italy Headquarters
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate the production process and evaluate potential changes
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in the automotive sector (Essential)
- Experience in machining (Essential)
- English (Essential)
- Robust knowledge of geometric tolerances
- Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Core Tools
- AIAG
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, BOMs, TAC Time, packaging processes
