We have an exciting opportunity for a Model Technician to join Cadillac Formula 1™ Team at our Wind Tunnel facility in Cologne, Germany.
In this role, you will work as part of a skilled team of technicians within both the Wind Tunnel and Model Shop, producing, assembling, and delivering high-precision aerodynamic components to the Wind Tunnel Model.
You will play a key role in ensuring test models meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy, directly contributing to the development of on-track performance.

- Complete geometry changes to the Wind Tunnel Model ensuring parts and assemblies are fitted accurately
- Safely operate and maintain a Wind Tunnel Model at our Wind Tunnel facility in Cologne, Germany
- Ensure Wind Tunnel project parts/assemblies are manufactured to a high standard and to the required deadlines
- Build large mechanical assemblies for the Wind Tunnel model and identify technical challenges and support in diagnosing/solving problems
- Work with the Model Design Engineers to improve the efficiency of model changes, and the quality of model parts
- Support the management of Health and Safety requirements
- You will be required to travel as part of this role to our facility in Silverstone, UK

What do you need to bring to the team?
- Current experience of Wind Tunnel model part preparation, and Wind Tunnel testing
- Experience in model-making in a high-level motorsport environment or equivalent
- Good knowledge of mechanical installations and assemblies
- Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email and positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
