Roles & responsibilities
Serve as a strategic business partner to client groups on applicable HR-related issues through coaching, counseling, and advising the Sr. Leadership team, managers and employee population.
Achieve successful resolution to employee relations matters including complaints, investigations, performance issues, terminations and other areas involving management of risk to the organization.
Facilitates and develops the understanding and application of Porsche’s vision, mission and organizational values ??with client groups. Utilize this understanding to add HR related value to the company in the rollout of business unit plans and HR initiatives.
Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits Department on the interpretation and application of corporate benefit program to client groups. Utilize this understanding to add HR related value to the company in the rollout of business unit plans and strategies.
Collaborate with Corporate Talent Acquisition Department to drive and coordinate recruitment activities within client group.
Takes a proactive role in planning organizational change (e.g., reorganizations) within client groups to include the preparing and updating of organization and headcount plans; job description profiles; and prepare organization and job design improvement proposals.
Contribute to the continuous development of PCNA's HR strategies and initiatives – develop annual review and plan regarding job performance and satisfaction; provide ideas and suggestions for major directions to strengthen human resources; lead specific improvement initiatives and projects.
Develop, administer, and interpret HR policies & procedures; legal compliance and ensure clear communication and equitable application of policies. Takes lead with investigations related to EEO, discrimination, harassment, etc.; conducts exit interviews, and identifies areas of risk and provides recommendations to minimize company exposure.
Coordinate the Porsche performance management process – determine timelines, content and process for the target setting process; review submitted goals for SMART criteria and initiate improvements where necessary; gather and verify goal achievement and other performance appraisal information; propose adjustments to calculated bonus amounts; provide advice on performance problems.
Responsible for the merit and bonus process for client groups and in collaboration with the respective top leadership
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Senior Leadership Team
Supports the Senior HR Manager with any additional required tasks

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business related field of study or in lieu of a degree and in addition to the required experience listed below, 8+ years of progressive HR experience
CA-SHRM accreditation desired – PHR or SPHR, etc.
Master’s degree in related field is preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of human resources business partner experience specializing in CA labor laws
Knowledge and experience in the following areas: Employee Relations, Recruitment/Selection, Training and Development, Benefits, Compensation, Compliance/Employment Laws
Experience working with retail, automotive repair shops and corporate environments
Must possess comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and programs; best practices; principles and trends; as well as employment related State and Federal laws; California employment law knowledge required
Occasional travel with occasional overnight stays may be required
Rewards and recognition programs

Percentage of required travel:
Travel with occasional overnight stays may be required
Schedule/Shift: This position is required to be in multiple different work locations in the LA area during the week. 5 days in the office is expected.
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$140,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reports compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
