Top-level consulting: Supporting board members, division managers, and decision-makers (of all genders) of leading railway companies in the further development and transformation of their core operational areas – particularly in operations, maintenance, and technology.
Transformation of operational business models: Designing new, high-performance operational and maintenance structures – digital, efficient, and customer-centric – e.g. E.g., new management models, workshop strategies, platform solutions, or asset-as-a-service concepts
Customer centricity & service excellence: Consistent alignment of operational performance with customer benefits – for example, through the development of new product logic, improved travel time reliability, or multimodal services
Holistic performance improvement: Identification of potential in the organization, processes, assets, and IT systems and implementation of concrete, measurable improvements together with the client
Project responsibility & leadership: Responsibility for sub-projects, presentation at board level, and active contribution of own ideas for our further development
Requirements
Above-average master's degree in (industrial) engineering, business administration, or a comparable field of study
Experience in a management consultancy with a focus on transport, mobility, or infrastructure, or alternatively in a strategically oriented role within the rail industry
Experience in implementing demanding projects – always with a clear focus on impact, efficiency, and innovation
Collaboration within a team and with clients on an equal footing while maintaining a confident demeanor Empathy and a creative spirit
Strategic thinking, analytical acumen, and entrepreneurial drive
Fluent communication skills in German and English
Flexibility and willingness to travel for international projects
