Our Computer Vision & Perception Group drives state-of-the-art research in deep learning, multimodal perception, and generative AI to enable safe, reliable, and scalable autonomy. We work at the intersection of computer vision, sensor fusion, and AI — developing models that leverage data from cameras, LiDARs, radars, and emerging sensor technologies.

As a Senior Researcher , you will define and lead research agendas that push the boundaries of perception for autonomous driving.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute research projects in computer vision, 3D perception, multimodal sensor fusion, and generative AI
- Design and evaluate foundation models and large-scale deep learning architectures tailored for automotive perception
- Collaborate with GM engineering teams to translate breakthrough concepts into scalable production solutions
- Develop proof-of-concepts and simulation-based prototypes demonstrating feasibility and performance
- Maintain a strong publication and patent record, contributing actively to the AI and autonomous driving research ecosystem
- Track emerging trends in AI, 3D perception, foundation models, generative AI, multimodal learning, and large-scale simulation
- Build and maintain collaborations with top universities, research labs, and industry experts
- Serve as a thought leader, mentoring junior researchers and driving innovation across teams
