This area offers you insights into test facilities for individual systems and entire vehicles, measurement technology, numerical simulation, and data science. During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on the focus of your studies, support us in one of the described departments, for example, in the following projects and activities:
Data Science Energy System
Support in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence & data and process analytics (e.g., process mining)
Collaboration in the development and communication of complex evaluations and codes
Collaboration in the application of advanced data science methods (data preparation, structuring, provision, and visualization) to real data from the test bench as well as simulation data or other business processes (end-to-end), e.g., in the area of ??plant engineering
Support in the planning, execution, and follow-up of experiments and trials for validation and data generation
Collaboration in the implementation of neural networks and machine learning methods
Flow and temperature simulation (3D CHT)
Collaboration in the geometry preparation of high-voltage batteries in preparation for model creation
Model construction of entire high-voltage batteries with a focus on on temperature development
Support in modeling degassing during a thermal short circuit
Coupling of flow and temperature models
Support in method development and implementation of new methods
Participation in post-processing and data analysis
Participation in discussions and coordination with experts
EVH Validation & Verification V/H Systems
Participation in drive test benches for combustion engines and hybrid drives
Participation in complete vehicle testing
Workshops for the construction and modification of test vehicles
Support in test vehicle management
Participation in the planning and management of the required virtual or physical testing methods and further development in the test fields
Participation in measurement technology and test bench automation
Complete vehicle testing, measurement technology & test bench automation
Participation in the systematic/automated recording and evaluation of process, test bench, and QM information
Further development of IT tools to support, for example, operational complete vehicle testing, test bench systems, or management tools
Preparation and visualization of information for participation in project management
Participation in Development, analysis, and forecasting of KPIs to support project management
Participation in the creation and further development of process documentation and key performance indicators
Support of the department's QM team and department management in administrative and operational reporting issues
Participation in operational test bench operations in the area of ??emissions and energy measurements for combustion engine, hybrid, and electric vehicles, from test planning to the preparation of relevant test results
