The perfect example of modern logistics: the central spare parts warehouse in Sachsenheim. From here, all Porsche models are supplied with parts – from the start of production until approximately 10 years after the end of production. This also includes parts supply for Porsche Classic, Exclusive, and Tequipment, as well as the supply of prototype components to the development departments and the supply of materials to the pilot production lines. Delivery takes place throughout Europe within 24 hours. It takes a maximum of 48 hours to any other Porsche location around the globe.

After-Sales Supply Chain Management
Participation in strategic projects along the entire after-sales supply chain process chain
Support in the analysis and continuous optimization of logistics processes from suppliers and the central warehouse to our international subsidiaries and dealers
Participation in ensuring international parts supply and support with cross-departmental issues
Creation and interpretation of statistics, key performance indicators, and evaluations
Logistics Planning
Participation in the implementation of processes within the framework of lean management (green, smart, efficient)
Participation in site development and optimization projects
Support in project-related analyses and key performance indicator determination for material flow management
IT Process Planning
Participation in IT projects in the hardware and software environment
Support in ensuring system-related site operations
Supporting after-sales logistics planning in the introduction and operation of innovative logistics processes, such as driverless transport systems, automated parts warehouses, and digital processes
After-sales service provider management, development & Production
Supporting the logistics management of logistics service providers in the development, series production, and after-sales environments
Collaboration in the analysis and processing of logistics issues as well as in the implementation of projects within the framework of continuous improvement
Support in project-specific special activities, including project start-ups for development and/or series components
