Position Overview
Porsche Design of America is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of E-Commerce to drive and enhance our online sales and profitability. In this pivotal role, you will lead and nurture a dedicated team, overseeing all aspects of daily online sales operations. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing our comprehensive e-commerce strategy and steering all performance-marketing activities vital to our online business.
This role requires close collaboration with various departments, including Marketing, IT, Finance, Retail, and Operations, and coordination with other Porsche entities in the US, Canada, and Germany. Your leadership and vision will be instrumental in propelling our lifestyle e-commerce platform to new heights.
Roles & Responsibilities
o Plan and execute annual sales planning in close collaboration with the HQ team in Germany.
o Evaluate opportunities to improve key onsite metrics, margin and overall sales and profitability.
o Utilize site analytics to monitor performance and guide actions.
o Develop and own the local E-Commerce strategy to scale Porsche Design of America’s online business by continuously improving the digital commerce experience with a customer-centric approach.
o Own the performance marketing strategy and budget, define channel goals across the digital ecosystem and track progress against business targets.
o Manage relationships with digital marketing agencies and third-party partners to leverage technologies that drive engagement and sales.
o Work with internal departments and agencies to ensure compliance across all online touchpoints.
o Partner with internal cross-functional teams to initiate the implementation of business initiatives.
o Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, and coaching to the E-Commerce team to ensure efficient operation of all online sales activities.
o Participate in the product assortment buy for Porsche Design of America in collaboration with our international Merchandise team.
o Drive leadership communications and updates regarding progress on key initiatives, business status, and communicate to executives and other stakeholders.
