Position objective:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) has the overall responsibility for new car, pre-owned car, service, and parts performance of the assigned region. Based on specific KPIs, the BDM will steer and develop Porsche Centers of their assigned region. This is a multifaceted role in which the BDM will have to demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and management skills combined with the confidence to inspire and motivate a geographically dispersed stakeholder group.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the achievement of new vehicle retail, pre-owned sales, service and parts sales objectives on a monthly and annual basis by individual model line and by dealer
• Conducts on-site dealer visits and provides dealer feedback to Porsche Cars Canada Ltd. (PCL) departments
• Reviews and analyzes Porsche KPIs for all business areas in order to identify growth opportunities and ensure sustainable long-term dealer profitability
• Manages annual Dealer Business related to the Performance margin and Premier Porsche Center Scorecard
• Implements dealer action plans and ensures deliverables are documented via contact reports and followed up
• Supports roll-out of dealer strategy and supports monitoring of progress
• Monitors and discusses Marketing scorecard KPI achievement
• Supports implementation of new business fields
• Monitors utilization of sales funnel (leads/order intake/order bank)
• Aligns with internal stakeholders e.g. Sales Programs, Marketing, Retail Development to identify opportunities to further grow and optimize dealer performance
• Aligns specifically with the Director, After Sales to ensure After Sales Business Development focus
