Summary: The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for supporting all Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) & Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions (HTS), and Hendrick Performance (HP) hiring needs. This will include sourcing, screening, and placing skilled professionals in various roles throughout the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of technical skill sets, industry trends, and the unique demands of the many environments our teammates operate in. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Must be creative and must exercise flexibility and initiative.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities, however, will frequently engage in directing others in support of the recruiting and hiring process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Manage full cycle recruiting efforts including talent sourcing, posting requisitions, candidate evaluation and screening, interview process, and scheduling hiring manager interviews.
- Proactively build pipeline of quality candidates to help address immediate needs and support future growth.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on effective recruiting practices to ensure an exceptional experience for all candidates.
- Work with the Director of Technical Partnerships and the Marketing department to ensure recruiting materials are reflective of our brand standards.
- Partner with the Director of Technical Partnerships to ensure there is a Company presence at dirt tracks and smaller circuits.
- Stay engaged and continue building relationships with future job candidates.
- Identify and participate in recruiting events to ensure Company interests are represented, and ensure our displays are reflective of our brands.
- Develop and build external relationships with outside organizations, schools, trade associations, etc., that could further assist with our candidate pipeline.
- Under the guidance of the HR Manager, work on project-based recruiting to help support new dealerships and acquisitions within region.
- Routinely communicate with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a time efficient recruitment process.
- Effectively utilize multiple candidate sourcing methods.
- Utilize company HRIS system to effectively source, screen and facilitate pre-hire process.
- Communicate with HR team to help facilitate hiring and on-boarding process.
- Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
- Facilitate pre-offer processes, including salary negotiations, and coordinate with HR to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with labor laws and Company policies, while maintaining accurate recruitment metrics and reports.

Education/Experience:
Previous recruiting experience for manufacturing/engineering roles, as well as experience working in high-paced environment.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
Environment Demands:
Duties are performed primarily an office environment. This position is not remote. Moderate travel by air and car is required. Position requires extensive interaction with Executive Leadership. Due to the nature of this position, employee may be exposed to various work environments, both indoors and outdoors.
Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Ability to learn spreadsheet software and the company HRIS system.
Math Ability:
Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations to accurately analyze market compensation trends, and review and advise on salary recommendations.
Communication Skills:
Employee must have exceptional verbal and active listening skills. Employee must be able to handle phone calls and communicate effectively with hiring managers and teammates.
Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance at the office. May include evening hours, weekends, and holidays to meet required deadlines.
