Within the framework of endurance racing projects, Oreca Motorsport is looking for a Senior CFD Aerodynamicist H/F based in Signes, near the Paul Ricard circuit, VAR, FRANCE.
As a senior member within a development Assigned to the Performance Engineering Manager, your missions will be to :
- Develop and apply CFD models, perform simulations, and analyse results to enhance performance,
- Interpret results from advanced tools to improve flow structure understanding,
- Set and achieve ambitious performance targets through innovation and creativity,
- Define concepts and aerodynamic strategies to lead high-performance development,
- Collaborate with the Design Office and other departments to shape car designs,
- Create technical reports, present findings, and recommend modifications with effective suggestion.
Required experience & qualifications :
- You have a background in mechanical engineering or technical design education, and you have significant experience of at least 5 years in motorsport, specifically in racecar aerodynamics,
- Able to lead dev project that improve the aero performance of racecar,
- Expertise in CFD tools and simulation techniques (Ansys Fluent, Starccm+, Openfoam etc...),
- Programming languages would be a plus: Scheme, Perl, VB, Java,
- Supporting and growing our capabilities and specialist tools (CFD,experimental)
- A thorough understanding of the requierements of overall car performance,
- Proficient in technical English communication, French is a plus
- Being passionate about motorsports is a plus.
