Within the framework of endurance racing projects, Oreca Motorsport is looking for a Surface Aero Designer H/F based in Signes, near the Paul Ricard circuit, VAR, FRANCE.
Inside our design office & Assigned to the DIrector of Engineering, your missions will be to :
- Work as surface expert for hypercar project,
- Create advanced surface models using the CATIA V5 CAD system as your primary task,
- Enhance the aerodynamic performance of a race car in close collaboration with aerodynamicists, other aero designers, and various departments, all within tight deadlines,
- Create CAD models for CFD analysis and refine them in collaboration with aerodynamicists.
Required experience & qualifications :
- You have a background in mechanical engineering or technical design education, and you have significant experience of at least 8 years in motorsport, specifically in surface aerodynamic design.
- Professional experience in designing complex surface models in CATIA V5,
- Extensive and thorough knowledge of the CATIA GSD workbench,
- Good knowledge of Catia V5 surface, solid and drawing modules,
- Proficient in technical English communication, French is a plus,
- Being passionate about motor sports is a plus.
