We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised individual to join our team as a Data Analyst.
In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting, tracking, and reconciling travel and freight related costs for various events, working closely with the travel team and finance department to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.
You will play a critical role in forecasting travel costs, managing hotel contracts, reconciling invoices, and ensuring that all expenses are accurately coded and aligned with budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel Cost Forecasting: Accurately forecast travel expenses for each event, including races, testing, and show car events, across Red Bull Racing, Red Bull Powertrains, and Red Bull Technology.
- Hotel Contract Management: Oversee the management of hotel contracts by maintaining a detailed contract tracker and ensuring all hotels have up-to-date agreements. Additionally, manage and update the hotel payments schedule to ensure timely payments and proper cash flow tracking.
- Month-End Accruals and Reconciliations: Ensure that month-end files are maintained accurately and updated regularly. Perform reconciliations of travel and freight costs, ensuring all relevant transactions are captured.
- Support to Finance Business Partner: Assist the Finance Business Partner with month-end closing tasks, providing necessary insights and updates to help finalise financial records.
- Travel Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis of travel costs, identifying discrepancies and providing explanations for any deviations from the budget at month-end.
- Cost Allocation and Coding: Ensure accurate and consistent coding of all travel and event-related expenses, guaranteeing costs are allocated to the appropriate areas and in line with company guidelines.
