Description
To support the Payroll Manager with the preparation and processing of an accurate monthly and biweekly payroll for salaried staff and high-volume seasonal employees in line with company deadlines whilst adhering to UK legislation.

Key Responsibilities
- You'll support our Payroll Manager in running smooth and efficient payroll operations for both salaried staff and our seasonal workforce. Your responsibilities will include:
- Payroll Processing: Managing monthly and biweekly payrolls using Access Select Pay, including reports and statutory filings.
- Payroll Accuracy: Conducting monthly reconciliations and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations (FPS, RTI).
- Data Management: Keeping spreadsheets accurate and up to date, from tax codes to maternity pay.
- Team Support: Collaborating with departments to process timesheets, handle payroll queries and provide general People & Culture assistance.
- Pension & Compliance: Administering the Group Pension and Auto-Enrolment scheme, plus handling Court Orders.

- Supporting the Silverstone team to deliver high-standard customer experience and service.
Performance Responsibilities
Ownership and delivery of key projects Performance will be monitored against the following:
- Objectives set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience with Select Pay (Access) or similar payroll systems.
- A sharp eye for numbers and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment, RTI, statutory payments, and pension schemes.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups) and experience with staff rota systems.
- Great communication skills, a positive attitude and a flexible approach to working hours.
- Previous payroll experience required; payroll qualifications are a plus but not essential.
