NDT Technician (Early/Late Shift)

About the Role:
The NDT Technician will be responsible for inspecting composite and metallic components using non-destructive techniques and verifying the quality of components and assemblies.
You will be joining a championship winning team which is driven to deliver operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities (Duties):
Performing in-process and final quality checks ensuring products comply with relevant specifications.
Recording and evaluating test results and subsequently generating NDT inspection reports.
Highlighting any non-conformances and actively contributing to the overall quality of the products and processes.
Maintaining test equipment and ensuring it remains in calibration.
Understanding the materials to be tested, how they are manufactured and the impact on the end product.
Actively contributing to improvement initiatives targeting lead-time, quality and health and safety.
Essential:
Qualified NDT Technician with PCN (Personnel Certification in Non-Destructive Testing) or Aerospace (EN 4179) Level 2 qualifications.
Level 2 qualifications must include NDT disciplines: MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection), DPI (Dye Penetrant Inspection), EDT (Electromagnetic testing).
Demonstrated experience within an NDT Technician role or similar vocation.
Ability to operate across an early and late shift working schedule and be confident in working autonomously as well as in a team.
Committed, motivated and self-disciplined in their work.
Ability to communicate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical colleagues. Understand how to perform under pressure and not compromise on quality.
PC literate (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite and similar) with the ability to write clear and concise reports as necessary.
