MAHLE SmartBike Systems builds components and systems behind some of the most innovative eBikes in the world., Mahle’s bike branch designs hardware and software solutions for eBike manufacturers, dealers and riders. MAHLE SmartBike System’s innovative solutions are guided by continuous dialog between the bicycle brands, dealers and riders.
Your contribution:
- Lead and execute Regional Sales activities in accordance with the Sales Strategy
- Scouting and acquisition of new customers and development of long-term relationships with customers (bike OEMs & distributors) in the region
- Strengthening customer contact network within different organisation levels and functions
- Definition of strategic plans for increasing market share in the region and enhance penetration with the customer base.
- Quotation and contract negotiation with prospects and customers
- Define market demand and potential as well as technical trend and competitors’ analysis.
- Set up and definition of Budget, management, and review of forecasts at product level on regular basis.
- Reporting of results and activities execution at regional level
- Analysis and implementation of marketing activities in cooperation with internal and external interfaces
- Ensure the processing of customer (OEMs, Distributor and Retailers) claims in a collaborative way with internal stakeholders (Service, Quality, Marketing, Product, Finance)
- Lead and development of the regional team
- Set up and coordination of resources deployed at regional level
Your experience and qualifications:
- 3 years proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar senior sales role (desirable)
- Several years of experience in the bicycle industry/bicycle trade/OEM.
- Ability to measure and analyse key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
- Ability to manage contractual discussions.
- Customer orientation
- Understanding of sports business, e-bikes and e-mobility
- Passion for bicycles
