We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Garage Technician.
This a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to establish themselves within the heart of the race team; a team which has built a reputation as being amongst the most dynamic and forward thinking in the pit-lane.
The responsibilities of this role will be someone with a good all round knowledge of the garage technician role covering all aspects of the job, to include wheel & tyre prep, fuel management, pitstop equipment, garage presentation.
You will be responsible for:
- Support the set up of trucks, garage and support equipment ensuring they are always maintained to the highest standards of reliability
- Assisting the garage technician team wherever required
- Have the ability to be able to cover any of the garage technician roles when required
- To ensure that all instructions and procedures are followed with regard to packing and documentation of parts and equipment for flyaway events be they Air or Sea freight
- To communicate any faults and issues with the circuit staff. Assist with any trouble shooting to help solve any problems that may occur leading to a health and safety risk
- To attend European and flyaway races as required
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience within the fast paced, motorsport environment
- An unrelenting dedication to representing the team to the highest standards, fostering a can-do attitude and championing company values, culture and teamwork
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and able to travel extensively
- A valid HGV 1 drivers’ licence would be advantageous
