With Red Bull Powertrains development well underway, we have an exciting position for an experienced Engine Re-use Stores Person. This position offers the opportunity to join the team in which it will support the continued success of our Championship Winning Team.
The Red Bull Powertrains Stores and Goods-In departments play a key role in the smooth running of all areas of the engine development. As with all our Stores areas, picking parts to works orders under tight time constraints whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy is essential.
This role will work very closely with the engine build technicians, ensuring that the multiple engine components are available, stored / logged correctly and are ready for repick as required, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate is well experienced and knowledgeable of the multiple components found within a complex engine (or powertrain).
You will ensure that material handling is executed to the highest possible standard. Traceability of stock, maximizing accuracy levels and the receiving and storage of parts efficiently are all paramount.
The Stores Departments make extensive use of computer-based stock management software; therefore, computer literacy and knowledge of software ERP systems is an absolute necessity.
You need the ability to work well without direct supervision, so self-motivation and high levels of attention to detail are key attributes. The role requires you to work day shifts, Mon to Fri however we require flexibility to cover overtime, other shifts and ah-hoc weekend work as and when needed.
Current or very recent experience of working in a high-pressured, results driven stores environment, preferably within the Motorsport, General Automotive or Aerospace industries is beneficial.
