Systems Engineer - United Autosports Careers We are looking for enthusiastic and competent Systems Engineers to work across our endurance sportscar race programmes. The successful applicant will be responsible for United Autosports’ systems engineering requirements across the team’s fleet of race cars. You will attend race and test events, ensuring the reliability and smooth running of the cars as well as maintaining and managing the electronic hardware. Main responsibilities: Data Acquisition SystemsAll programming of ECU / data logger including data downloadResponsibility for the calibration of all car electronics equipment sensorsCar health monitoring and fault diagnosis during runningPost running inspection of all sensor data, reporting of condition and damage to the Race EngineerPreparation of standard reports and performance indicesWorking with the Engineering Team to continually improve the data analysis system and toolsDevelopment of systems engineering tools and hardware to improve performance, automation and reliability Hardware Maintenance, management and planning of the travelling IT / systems equipmentMaintenance, management and planning of the car electronics hardware and sensors and sparesSpares stock of electrical hardware and consumablesLiaising with suppliers IT and Infrastructure Assist in the set up and operation of the garage and its infrastructureAssist in the running of the trackside IT networkMaintenance of pitwall / garage data systemsSetup and maintenance of team / car radio and intercom systemsPlanning the efficient use of the teams IT / systems equipment at future events and quickly identifying problems or shortfalls Essential requirements:Experience and competence with motorsport electronic data systems such as, Pi Toolbox, Mclaren Atlas, Magnetti Marelli, Bosch, TAGExperience of the use of CANalyser toolsGood organization and communication skillsFault analysis and rectification If you think you have what it takes to join United Autosports, please apply with your CV to hr@unitedautosports.com denoting clearly which role you are applying for.
