We require an experienced Dyno Support Engineer to provide dedicated facilities and instrumentation support to the testing of high-performance Race/OEM powertrains (ICE & EV), to join on a permanent basis. You must be able to demonstrate:• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mitsubishi FX3 PLC• Experience in installation and calibration of equipment and instrumentation• Experience in electrical / instrumentation fault finding and diagnostics• Experience in building new test rigs beneficial• Good GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grades• Maintenance of calibration records• A good understanding of plant equipment• Compliance in Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality requirements• A good level of IT literacy• Good mechanical aptitude• Familiarity with Safe Systems at WorkCombined with this experience, it is essential that you possess:• Honesty and integrity• The ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team, even when under pressure• A methodical approach to problem solving• An interest in electrical wiring / testing (training can be provided)• Good organisational skills• Flexible in order to meet tight deadlines• Willingness to work additional hours or undertake shift work to fulfil the project requirements• Strong communication skills in verbal and written formatsBenefits:• A competitive salary which will reflect your career to date, as well as your skills and level of experience• Performance related bonus• 35 days standard annual leave• Generous non-contributory pension scheme• Company-wide team activity events• A private medical health scheme• Life assuranceWe are an out-of-town location with free on-site parking and easy walking access to shops, cafes and buses.
