About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Programme Planner reporting to the Planning Manager, within our F1 Operations Group.
The Programme Planner will be focused on interfacing between Design Engineers, Manufacturing, External Suppliers, and Build, helping to deliver on-track performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and managing F1 component production for track and factory events, to agreed quantities and budget.
Key Accountabilities/Duties:
Creating and managing integrated production plans for allocated car areas.
Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the launch car is supplied to the agreed specification and to the highest quality.
Enabling aggressive in-season development, recognising the role Operations plays in delivering lap-time to the car.
Part quantities management aligned with inventory targets & cost-cap requirements.
Demand driven planning and clear communication to purchasing, build and all other stakeholders.
Accountability for the delivery of the programme for allocated car areas.
Expediting components through all areas of internal and external manufacture to achieve plan adherence.
Confirming and communicating the part availability status to all stakeholders.
Working closely with Purchasing to achieve the best possible cost, while meeting deadlines.
Analysing data and making correction to programmes where appropriate.
Candidate Profile:
F1 or high level motorsport experience is essential.
Experience of planning/scheduling in a fast-paced, demanding, prototype environment (ideally motorsport) is highly desirable.
Equally capable of working autonomously and within a Team environment to achieve common goals.
Effective and concise communicator at all levels.
An innovator with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to remain focused and objective when faced with adversity.
Ability to create a positive profile for themselves and the team.
A capability for logically solving complex problems.
Resilient and professional with a belief in the concept of continuous improvement.
Energetic with a strong work ethic and customer focus.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.
