The Supply Chain Intern is positioned within motorsports operations and will support activities in the scope of procurement, inventory control, and internal fulfillment. This role has a core set of responsibilities and will also involve team projects and development opportunities.
This internship opportunity is part-time and will begin in November 2024. The ideal duration of the internship is 9-12 months.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statements:
• Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, kitting, picking, and delivery.
• Perform inventory control activities, including physical counts and organization.
• Process transactions in the ERP system, including requisitions, receipts, and inventory issuance.
• Assess data and identify consumption trends to prepare forecasts and inventory calculations.
• Process purchasing data or inventory data exports in Excel; utilize formulas for calculations and reporting.
• Support year-end and season start-up activities, including inventory reorganizations and mass distribution events.
• Assist shipping and receiving operations, including internal deliveries/collections and packaging support. At times, external collections/deliveries.
• Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement objectives.

Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in college and completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle
• Must be willing and able to operate a forklift. Forklift certiftication will be required in the role
• Concentration in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or Business preferred
• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Most demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem solving ability.
• Must possess strong communication skill including written, oral, and analytical skills
• Must possess working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet creation.
• Must be able to be able to bend, twist, and lift up to 20lbs.
