Director of Ticketing

About the Opportunity
An emerging professional sports organization is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Ticketing to implement ticket sales, service and operations. This role oversees ticketing programs, staff leadership, inventory management and fan experience while driving attendance for the team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead season ticket, premium seating, group sales, hospitality, and single-game ticketing programs.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing ticket sales and service team.
- Establish sales goals, activity standards, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Oversee ticket operations, inventory management and customer service.
- Partner with marketing, partnerships, and game presentation to maximize attendance.
- Support game-day operations, premium hospitality, and special events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Management, Marketing, Ticketing or related field preferred.
- Five or more years of leadership experience in professional sports ticket sales or ticket operations. Must have AXS ticketing experience.
- Proven success exceeding revenue goals and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Working knowledge of HubSpot CRM for pipeline management, reporting, and customer engagement preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
