Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)
Being an active member of the team connecting the initiatives and strategies of all South America, connecting all points and being fundamental for projects and processes in sales admin and Commercial Policies.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all commercial policies across the region and clearly explain their rationale, strategy, and calculations, driving benchmarking, standardization, and continuous improvement across South America.
- Evaluate current commercial policies and incentive plans across the region with the goal of implementing a competitive, effective, and aligned South America strategy.
- Support the sales incentive design cycle from concept to deployment for all teams under variable incentive plans across countries and channels.
- Build business cases to support decision-making and demonstrate the value and impact of new commercial policies.
- Support strategy definition and calculation methodologies for dealer and distributor targets, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the strategic implementation and expansion of the network performance communication tool, currently under deployment, ensuring organization, governance, control, and support across GM, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Develop regional processes by engaging commercial teams to design and implement measurement and control mechanisms, while driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand the needs of each market and drive improvements by identifying trends, areas of opportunity, and business solutions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in Commercial Strategy
- Proficiency in English
- Desirable proficiency in Portuguese, if Spanish is the native language
- Desirable proficiency in Spanish, if Portuguese is the native language

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERTISE
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
- 3+ years of relevant prior business experience preferred (e.g., sales, sales administration, marketing, product management, pricing, operations, supply chain, commercial strategy, or data analytics)
