Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Project Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and lead facility renovations, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades from initial concept to final execution.
- Resource Management: Analyze operating costs, create budgets, and allocate resources efficiently to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Design: Gather data to design facility systems and specify equipment that meets operational needs.
- Vendor Coordination: Select, direct, and oversee contractors and service providers for specialized construction tasks
- Technical Oversight: Manage Request for Information (RFIs), review project specifications, and track design changes.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control measures, establish testing criteria, and inspect project deliverables to ensure compliance.
- Risk Management: Monitor daily operations, conduct risk assessments, and develop contingency plans to mitigate project delays.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, process submittals, track procurement logs, and generate regular progress reports.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facility, construction, or project management.
- Experience managing facility renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, cost control, and contractor management.
- Ability to review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and project coordination skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- PMP certification and manufacturing industry experience are a plus.
