Job Overview
Responsible for managing and developing commercial relationships with strategic Rent A Car Key Customers, ensuring long-term business growth and customer satisfaction. Acting as the primary point of contact for RAC Direct Customers, identifying customer needs, coordinating cross-functional teams, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving sales performance
Key Responsibilities
Manage Strategic Customer Rent A Car Key Accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key automotive customers, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Drive Business Growth and Sales Performance
- Identify new business opportunities, manage RFQs, negotiate commercial agreements, and achieve sales and profitability targets.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Activities
- Collaborate with HQ, Finance, Treasury, Operations, Quality, and Supply-Chain teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery of customer requirements.
Monitor Market and Customer Developments
- Analyze market trends, customer strategies, and competitive activities to support business planning and develop effective account growth strategies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Key Account Management & Customer Relationship Management
Proven ability to manage strategic automotive customers, develop long-term partnerships, and drive business growth through effective account planning and customer engagement.
- Automotive Industry Knowledge
Strong understanding of OEM, automotive product development processes, Advanced Product Quality Planning requirements, and industry standards.
- Commercial & Contract Negotiation
Expertise in pricing strategies, commercial negotiations, contract management, and profitability analysis to secure sustainable business agreements.
- Project & Program Management
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage customer projects from RFQ phase through production launch, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Forecasting & Business Analysis
Proficiency in sales forecasting, budget planning, market analysis, KPI monitoring, and data-driven decision-making using CRM and reporting tools.
- Commercial IT Tools Proficiency
Proficient in the use of CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications to manage customer accounts, analyze sales performance, prepare business reports, and support data-driven decision-making
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Between 5 and 8 years' experience in a field sales role in the automotive industry, working with Rent a Car companies
- Fluent in English and Italian (at least B2)
Offer
- Salary range: from 52000 € to 60000 €, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements
- Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
