JOB TITLE: Aftersales Operations Analyst

REPORTS TO: Head of Marketing, Pricing & Accessories
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The core purpose of this role is to maximise profitability for the Stellantis South Africa
dealer network in line with company objectives through market analysis and pricing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in commerce or economics
- Previous experience in a similar role (2-3 years) in the Automotive industry
o Market knowledge and understanding
o Forecasting and automotive spares sales planning methodology and practices
- Computer literacy with Advanced Excel,
- PowerPoint, Word
- SAP operating system

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify profit opportunities for Stellantis through price benchmarking research and margin analysis with the use of Mapo
- Reporting of daily and monthly parts sales by brand
- Identify parts sales opportunities through penetration analysis;
- Various monthly reports including margin analysis and top 100 parts performance
- Identify wholesale opportunities for Stellantis South Africa and negotiate preferential pricing from source to be used to improve parts sales;
- Work with local aftersales management to determine when and how new pricing strategies (Local, export, warranty, etc.) can be implemented.
- Assist in the analysis, creation and presentation of parts department annual budget and quarterly forecasts;
- Pricing of parts that are not priced on various operating systems
- Review pricing on all parts as market information is received and price all newly marketed parts including supersessions and new model parts;
- Ensure continuous communications with dealers to enable dealer decision-making;
- Distribution of dealer bulletins to the network
- Review RGT Data for car parc to assist in calculating dealer targets
- Provide support to the sales and supply chain departments;
- Provide and analyse reports related to pricing for management to use for decision making;
- Work closely with field team to ensure maximum value in dealer visits;
- Engage with dealers and the Finance team on price deviation requests;
- Cooperate with Stellantis Head Office in MEA with various reporting requests
- Provide parts price file weekly and monthly to the individual DMS companies.
- Cost control management for the aftersales department. Work closely with aftersales
- controller to manage costs according to budget and forecast.
- Monitoring and reporting of Logistics costs
