WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
At our Modena plant, production continuity depends on one key factor: having the right materials, at the right time.
As a Material Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring this happens every day — balancing supplier performance, production needs, and inventory efficiency in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Ensure material availability in line with production schedules;
- Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively manage delays or risks;
- Act as a key point of contact between suppliers, production, and internal stakeholders;
- Prevent and manage critical shortages, ensuring quick resolution;
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and consistency between systems and physical stock;
- Lead and coordinate material planning activities and team priorities;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives on logistics flows and planning processes.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or similar;
- At least 10 years of experience (of which at least 3–5 years of experience in material planning, logistics, or supply chain roles);
- Experience in a manufacturing / plant environment with direct impact on production;
- Previous experience in the automotive sector or complex industrial environments;
- Solid knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP or similar);
- Good understanding of inventory management and production planning dynamics;
- Proven ability to manage complex priorities and time-critical situations;
- Fluent Italian and professional level of English (B2 or higher);
- Experience leading or coordinating a teamFamiliarity with supplier management and escalation handling
- Advanced Excel and/or data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)

- Salary range: from 43.000€ to 55.000€, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements.
- Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
