Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
The Role:
As the Material Planner you will be part of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for support in one of the key areas: manufacturing/warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management.
In this role you will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.
What You'll Do:

Executing work, you're doing in support of supply chain organization's business objectives.

You will provide support of one of the key areas within Supply Chain.

Ensure business objectives goals are achieved or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.

You will be responsible for supporting relationship management and offering support to warehousing/manufacturing and suppliers.

Position supports plans and issue resolution to ensure no or minimal impact to the supply chain.
Planning:
-
Review monthly SAP plans.
-
Investigate and fix SAP deviation for MRP run on part level.
-
Release and communicate the delivery plan to local suppliers.
-
Update the delivery plan timely based on the updated production sequence.

Generate the monthly forecast for related local suppliers for 6 months with monthly update.

Receive and analyze the imported material for all local Material/ Process Material and report risk items with deep action plan with the supplier to close the risk.
Follow Up:

Review the daily shortage report for all production lines.

Follow up on part level with local supplier and confirm the timely delivery.

Establishes, modifies and monitors shipping of the in-consignment material (CKD, Local and PM).

Support the local suppliers by having an interaction with overseas suppliers and source plants to support the local supplier recovering the high-risk shipments.

Close monitoring for Material Expiry.

Regular visits to supplier premises for follow-up and supplier improvement.
Reporting:

Confirm/Issue SPPS’s (Supplier practical problem solving) for late delivery issues.

Report the delivery violation and follow up on the supplier action plan to eliminate it.

Report the high-risk issues.
-
Report the supplier KPI.
-
Track and report the capacity issues.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)
Educational and Experience Background:

1 or 2 years of experience in same field.

Engineering, Business, or any related bachelor's degree.
