Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the industry-leading Synopsys PrimeTime Static Timing Analysis tool across pre-sale and post-sale engagements.
- Driving product adoption through competitive benchmarking, customer evaluations, and articulating product advantages to design teams and management.
- Delivering customer training, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops to maximize user proficiency and satisfaction.
- Providing tape-out support, troubleshooting complex timing issues, and ensuring successful project completion.
- Collaborating with R&D, marketing, and sales to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge base resources.
- Participating in advanced customer collaboration initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
As a PrimeTime Applications Engineer, you will accelerate customer project timelines by enabling efficient use of PrimeTime and optimizing design flows. You will enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through expert support, training, and problem-solving. You will strengthen Synopsys' leadership in static timing analysis and semiconductor design solutions. You will facilitate feedback loops between customers and internal teams, driving continuous innovation in product features. You will empower customers to achieve superior chip performance, power efficiency, and cost optimization. You will contribute to successful tape-outs and high-impact design wins for industry-leading clients.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Expertise in Synopsys PrimeTime STA tool, with hands-on experience and deep knowledge of its features.
- Strong understanding of timing corners, process variations, and signal integrity-related issues.
- Familiarity with synthesis, physical design, extraction, and ECO methodologies.
- Proficiency in TCL scripting for automation and tool customization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
- BSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MSEE/equivalent with 3-4 years of experience.
