JOB TITLE: Recall Specialist (Fixed Term Contract)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Oversee, coordinate, and execute all legacy and current recall campaigns for Stellantis brands across the dealer network in South Africa and Sub‑Saharan Africa. Partner with Marketing and suppliers to deliver timely, clear, and consistent media and customer communications.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify all recall campaigns issued for Stellantis brands
- Interpret each recall’s requirements to ensure effective planning and execution
- Maintain daily recall records (completed, open, newly launched, and legacy recalls.
- Monitor and report dealer capacity to ensure recalls can be completed both onsite and online.
- Identify gaps in recall completion performance and escalate findings to the relevant Aftersales leader to improve service quality and turnaround times
- Collaborate with regional and local Aftersales teams and participate in recall meetings.
- Conduct site visits to second-tier suppliers (e.g., scrapyards and independent workshops) to locate vehicles requiring recall work and develop action plans to complete repairs.
- Perform dealer audits focused on recall completion and workflow.
- Hold dealer performance reviews and agree corrective actions to improve recall completion and customer satisfaction
- Ensure consistent workshop network standards and the implementation of all workshop processes and initiatives that increase dealer profitability by driving workshop traffic.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep customer data and communication programs accurate and up to date, and to maintain adequate stock of recall parts.
- Maintain dealer standards compliance by keeping dealers informed of franchised minimum requirements and conducting network audits as needed.
- Proactively follow up on dealer work-in-progress to reduce VOR (Vehicle Off Road) cases caused by long lead times (capacity constraints and recall parts ordering), improving profitability and customer satisfaction through shorter workshop turnaround times.
- Ensure appropriate CI compliance across the network in line with management’s premium objectives.
- Carry out and support additional Aftersales duties as required by Stellantis, including (but not limited to) recall completion programs, ad hoc technical training, events, technical investigations, and revenue-generating initiatives.
