We're seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team of engineers developing and supporting electrical & electronic solutions for use on our race, rally, and road projects.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will drive our electrical design team to achieve electrical solutions for our motorsport products. This will involve designing electrical systems both on and off vehicle (harnesses, actuators, sensors, control units), producing schematics and manufacturing drawings of electrical harnesses and components, and diagnosing electrical faults, working through problems methodically, both in hardware and software.
Key responsibilities include: produce documentation (internal and customer-facing) to assist with electrical installations; releasing of parts and assembly structures onto bill of materials; working with other departments and customers to support the design and implementation of electrical components; supporting onsite harness manufacturing and car build with troubleshooting of electrical and electronic issues, working through problems methodically.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Equivalent in Motorsport, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant degree, with strong automotive or motorsport understanding of electrical systems, and experience with Zuken E3 or another ECAD package.
