We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Specialist to join our corporate team, remotely servicing our plants and offices across Europe and globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for SAP ABAP (all RICEF developments and labels) in our current program in Italian factories, developing new functionalities and reports, supporting existing developments, and managing SAP ABAP projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new functionalities and reports in the ABAP module
- Supporting existing developments and issues in the SAP Logistics modules
- Managing SAP ABAP projects for rollouts within all company plants and implementation of new functionalities
- Analyzing and further developing SAP ABAP processes
- Developing, implementing, and integrating tests in the SAP environment
- Providing direct contact with internal customers or partners regarding SAP ABAP topics and implementations
- Training and supporting key users
- Providing 2nd and 3rd-level support to employees across our global sites and incident management
Requirements include:
- Well-founded experience as a Senior SAP ABAP Specialist
- Senior knowledge of the SAP ABAP development of Smartforms, Adobeforms, SAPscripts, and creation of formats in general
- Extensive experience with customizing and development of labels
- Development knowledge in Mobisys scanners is convenient
- Technical knowledge regarding connection with printers and scanners is a plus
- Functional knowledge of any functional module such as FI-CO, PP, MM, or SD is a valuable asset
- Experience in the automotive supply industry is convenient
- Fluency in English is a must, native/fluency in Italian or Spanish is a plus
- Ability to manage project business parallel to day-to-day business
- High degree of personal responsibility
- Flexibility for international travel
