This role involves providing technical support to users, resolving computer problems, and maintaining computer inventory. You will also work with yearly IT budgets, monitor and maintain local networks, and implement new corporate rollouts of hardware and software.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering questions and resolving computer problems for users in person or remotely
- Providing assistance and guidance on the use of computer hardware and software
- Installing, configuring, and providing ongoing support for the divisional Local Area Network (LAN)
- Maintaining computer inventory
- Working with yearly IT budgets
- Monitoring and maintaining local networks to ensure availability to all users
- Implementing new corporate rollouts of hardware and software
You will also work with senior-level network support personnel and client-server specialists, as well as Intermec/Motorola bar code scanners, printers, and related shipping systems.
Additional duties include maintaining an Avaya phone system, providing limited support with the corporate ERP system (M2K/SAP), and performing other IT-related tasks as requested by management.
