The Progettista Automazione Industriale is responsible for developing electrical designs for complex industrial systems, supporting projects from the sales phase to the final delivery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and current regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the commercial and sales team to identify the most suitable technical solutions. Analyse customer specifications and develop solutions that meet project requirements. Estimate costs of materials and labour resources needed for project execution. Prepare technical documentation for the production of electrical equipment, integrating standard solutions with specific customer requirements. Develop and manage bill of materials (BOM) for design activities. Prepare technical documentation for tenders and offers. Pursue the final project documentation in accordance with applicable requirements and standards. Ensure continuous coordination with other engineering disciplines, managing interfaces and integrated solutions. Define and communicate project safety standards and requirements. Promote the reuse of solutions and best practices from previous projects. Design electrical schemes, including process and safety schemes. Prepare cause-and-effect matrices (safety matrices) for validation of safety functions at the customer site. Calculate the Performance Level (PL) for safety systems. Support the documentation team in preparing user manuals and technical documentation developed during the design phase.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in a technical field (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation). At least 3-4 years of professional experience in the role or similar fields. Solid knowledge of European Directives and electrical regulations (Machine Directive 2006/42/EC; EN ISO 13849-1; EN ISO 60204-1; EN ISO 12100). Excellent knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8 (version 2.8). Knowledge of the SISTEMA software for calculating the Performance Level (PL). Good knowledge of the English language, written and spoken (at least level B1). Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. Additional requirements: dynamism, precision, and problem-solving skills. Availability for short national trips and occasional international trips (Europe). Knowledge of SAP for managing bill of materials (BOM) (preferential). Knowledge of EPDM for document management (preferential). Knowledge of AutoCAD for creating plans and technical drawings (preferential).
