As a student assistant, you will support a project in the area of exhaust gas measurement:
- Prepare, set up, and document PEMS measurement systems
- Participate in vehicle preparation, measurement trips, and data security
- Evaluate and plausibilise measurement and ECU data (e.g. NOx, CO2, temperatures, pressures, CAN signals)
- Maintain test stand, vehicle, and project documentation
- Create technical reports and evaluations
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a technical degree programme such as Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical degree programme
- Strong interest in technical areas such as:
+ Measurement technology and sensor technology + Emissions, RDE, and PEMS + Understanding of internal combustion engines + CAN data communication + Engine control unit measurements
- Ideally, already have some experience in vehicle testing, data analysis, or workshop/laboratory environments
- Structured, analytical, and independent working style
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with tools like Atlassian Confluence & Jira, INCA, Concerto, DIAGRA
- Good German language skills
