Senior Automotive Hardware Electronics Design Architect – IVI System
Overview:
Join a transformative journey at Stellantis, where technology is reshaping the automotive industry. We’re seeking visionary hardware/system architect to lead the development of next-generations In-vehicle Infotainment (IVI) ZCU and RTCU systems, driving innovation and enhancing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hardware architecture and component selection for next-gen IVI, ZCU, RTCU systems.
- Recommend advanced semiconductor solutions and design high-performance electronic circuits/PCBs for seamless vehicle integration.
- Collaborate with system architects, safety engineers, and procurement teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Provide deep technical expertise in IVI components including:
- Display and cluster technologies
- Audio amplifiers, microphones, DSPs, PMICs
- Digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet)
- ANC/RNC design
- WiFi, BLE, NAD modules.
- eFUSE, HSDs.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100).
- Utilize acoustic measurement tools and audio analysis systems (e.g., Audio Precision).
- Engage with silicon vendors to influence design features and roadmap.
- Support advanced design phases and ECU development.
- Drive scalable, reusable, and cost-optimized hardware platforms across domains (Body, Chassis, ADAS, Infotainment, etc.).
- Provide expertise in SoC architecture (ARM, RISC-V), accelerators, multimedia processing, networking, and memory technologies.
- Contribute to ISO 26262 and cybersecurity implementations.
- Define and refine MCU/MPU/SoC specifications and technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to prioritize and deliver components aligned with domain requirements and milestones.
- Collaborate with electronics design team for design calculations, worst case analysis, circuit design, layout and testing teams.
- Knowledge of semiconductor technology and semiconductor risk management and mitigation.
Basic Qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics or hardware/system architecture.
- Strong knowledge of IVI systems, audio technologies, vehicle connectivity, and ECU design.
- Proficiency in ARM architectures, power management, high-speed interfaces, and automotive networking (ETH, CAN, LIN).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently in a global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive or industrial domains (Tier 1/Tier 2).
- Familiarity with RISC-V, AI/ML, hypervisors, and software architecture.
- Knowledge of safety and security standards (ISO 26262, Euro NCAP).
- Understanding of embedded design constraints and board-level software.
- Experience with Audio DSPs and MCU bring-up.
- Experience with HW design, development, simulation tools. (Altium, LT-Spice, Hyper lynx).

Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture, Functional Groups/Clusters – ARA:COM, UCM, FOTA, CRYPTO etc and ADAPTIVE SIP Integration.
- Knowledge on Automotive processors like Qualcomm SoC Series.
- Hands on middleware stack Development in C++ language
- QEMU - or other Posix emulators.
- Good knowledge on Posix Operating system-Qnx and Hypervisor.
- Strong Communication skills and ability to do Cross collaboration projects with Inhouse and Vendor teams.
