Characterization: Support the characterization of new products, including designing and executing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and summarizing results in technical reports. Qualification: Develop and execute qualification plans for new products, including testing, inspection, and validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. New Equipment Buy-Off: Support the buy-off of new equipment, including coordinating with equipment suppliers, developing and executing acceptance test procedures, and ensuring that equipment meets specified requirements. Technical Support: Provide technical support for R&D activities, including troubleshooting, debug, and optimization of product design sand manufacturing processes. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing, to ensure that products are designed and manufactured to meet customer requirements and quality standards. Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test reports, and design files, to support product development and qualification activities. Compliance: Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize product development and manufacturing processes. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in product development or an R&D environment. Hands-on experience in characterization, qualification, and new equipment buy-off. Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes. Experience with DOE (Design of Experiments) and statistical analysis. Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk). Experience with data analysis/reporting tools such as PDF Exensio, MATLAB, or Python. Excellent teamwork, communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Preferred: advanced degree (Master's), semiconductor/electronics industry experience, programming knowledge (C/C++/Python), and familiarity with IC test equipment setup and buy-off.
