Responsible for development planning and development strategy in close collaboration with other functions (e.g. marketing, operations). Develops generic and market-oriented products. Ensures developments are based on state-of-the-art research and technology. Applied research based on scientific methods, e.g. for quality improvement, process optimization, new products or business areas. Develops, continuously improves, and maintains fully characterized and well documented unit processes for all IFX technologies according to the requirements as derived from the annual road mapping cycle based on requirement inputs from all business divisions. Derives respective unit process roadmaps for all technologies and drives synchronization between different sites and segments.
