Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Sample preparation and Handling: You support characterizing electronic and semiconductor samples at very low temperatures using methods like low-temperature soldering and wire-bonding. Cryogenic Measurements: You oversee the execution of cryogenic measurements down to -268°C, ensuring proper setup, operation, and functionality of cryostat and measurement equipment for accurate data collection. Process and Summarize Measurement Data: You evaluate measurement data and summarize results. Teamwork is dreamwork: You collaborate closely with engineers, providing feedback on experimental procedures, suggesting improvements, and contributing to a positive and innovative team environment Documentation and Reporting: You maintain clear and detailed documentation of experiments, procedures and finding, ensuring records are suitable for both internal use and external reporting Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Study field: You are currently studying physics, electrical engineering, materials science or a related field Way of working: You work systematically and methodically, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, particularly when handling delicate equipment and samples Personality: You are eager to learn, adaptable to new tools and protocols, and able to cooperate effectively in a team environment Skills: You are familiar with laboratory environments and have basic soldering skills. Experience with wire-bonding are appreciated, scripting languages like Python or Matlab, or PCB design would be a plus Language skills: You have very good English skills, both written and spoken. You must also not be in a semester of leave. You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team.
