The Role:
We are looking for a proactive Management Accountant with specialist Accounts Receivable experience to join our fast-paced finance team. In this dual-focus role, you will lead our AR activities while supporting broader management accounting functions. You will be a key player in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining vital stakeholder relationships, and supporting our strategic transition from SAP to Workday.
Key deliverables are:
Accounts Receivable Ownership: Manage the end-to-end AR lifecycle, including issuing domestic and international invoices and ensuring strict compliance with global tax requirements.
Financial Accuracy: Ensure the timely and accurate processing of day-to-day transactions and take ownership of specific areas during month-end close to meet reporting deadlines.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain high-standard relationships with internal teams and external parties, managing the shared AR inbox and invoicing progress trackers.
Management Accounting Support: Support banking operations, payment runs, and the posting of accounting entries.
Global Compliance: Assist with VAT reconciliations across different countries, collaborating with local tax advisors to ensure regional accuracy.
System Administration: Play a central role as a System Administrator during our transition from SAP to Workday.
Reporting: Prepare monthly management packs for external consultants and provide ad hoc support for the wider finance team.
What we're looking for in you:
You are an accurate, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a close-knit, high-energy environment. You are a quick learner with a proactive mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities without constant supervision.
Proven Experience: 3+ years in AR or accounting positions, ideally within a fast-paced or international industry.
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of management accountancy, including double-entry bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and VAT.
Educational & Professional Standing: A degree in Finance or Accounting is required. You should also be part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or similar).
Software Proficiency: Intermediate Excel skills are mandatory. Experience with financial software is essential; experience with Workday or Google Workspace (Mail/Sheets) is highly preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with a global stakeholder base.
Team Player Spirit: A commitment to the wider collective team, valuing humanity and a passion for learning new skills.
Language Skills: While not essential, proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, or Portuguese is advantageous.
