What you'll do
As a Senior Engineer, the incumbent should be capable of taking charge and leading electronics development of Powertrain ECU systems with minimal oversight, utilizing their past experience to overcome challenges of moderate complexity.
- Project and team management: Breaking down project concept details and change points into required development activities and deciding the overall ECU development plan, correlating technical project details with key stakeholders and negotiating the schedule for deliverables.
- Engineering specification design for Powertrain ECU applications, including electrical circuit hardware and software in tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, MS VISIO, or other tools as necessary.
- Engineering troubleshooting, root cause analysis and solution design: Working hands-on and using industry standard tools and methods in prototype or mass production level vehicles to identify Powertrain electronics functional issues and deciding the steps required for resolution.
What you need
- Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study; and/or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Minimum Experience: At least 2 or more years of relevant experience, in related field to automotive ECU development.
- Other Job-Specific Skills: Coordination of other person’s job priorities, Be able to use industry standard engineering tools such as MATLAB as well as ECU data monitoring tools such as Vector CANalyzer or ETAS INCA.
