In this position, the Supplier Quality & Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating supplier performance activities across manufacturing sites, maintaining centralized quality documentation, analyzing supplier data, as well as ensuring suppliers' compliance to Akebono Brake Corporation's quality standards.
What you'll do
Manage and maintain supplier documentation, PPAP records, audit results, certifications/CQI audits, and approved supplier lists.
Ensure corporate level compliance with IATF, ISO and customer specifics requirements
Gather information from manufacturing facility and issue Supplier Concern Report SCR for all quality and delivery issues related to supplied parts
Work with suppliers to ensure root cause analysis, corrective actions, 5 whys and proven countermeasures are completed in a timely manner according to 8D methodology.
What you need
High School or Associate Degree in Science required
2-5 years' experience in data analysis is required.
Experience in leading task force and coordinating with various CFT members is required.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and the ability to think strategically is required.
Computer skills including MS Office, Microsoft Project, and Lotus Notes or Outlook is required.
