We are currently recruiting for an individual to join our Day Shift Laminating team as a Laminating Supervisor at our Brackley site who has previous laminating experience, ideally supervisory experience. This role will be responsible for the day to day assisting of the Kit-Cutting and Laminating Supervisor and supporting the Laminating team.
What you'll do
Supervision of Laminators to ensure they have all the information, equipment, inserts etc. required to complete the day's jobs.
- Have a positive 'can do' approach to daily tasks along with a motivational attitude.
- Day to day workshop discipline.
- Laminating ply checks – Answering laminators request to check work.
- Fault finding – pro-actively seeking laminating errors.
- To train and progress Laminators.
- Be involved with raising QMS lines and investigative meetings to understand root cause.
- Feedback to operatives to prevent issues from repeating.
- Bag checking and sign off.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- On a rota basis to supervise the department during overtime hours.
- Be flexible and committed.
- Key Holder responsibilities, setting and un-setting the factory alarm whilst following company last man out procedures.
- Assist in taking stock out of the main stores as per clean-room requirements.
