Internship / Work placement title: CFD Computational Fluid Dynamics R&D Engineering Internship
What you'll do
Test ANSYS Fluids software, providing high-quality feedback to developers to enhance software quality and reliability within project timelines.
Gain hands-on experience with automated testing systems, developing new tests for evolving products.
Utilize scripting and AI tools to improve efficiency in test creation and analysis of test results.
Develop a thorough understanding of CFD software and implement tests that reflect real-world customer scenarios.
Work on verification and validation of new models in the solver, contributing to next-generation fluids products.
Assist in producing detailed test specifications, focusing on potential problematic areas and acceptance testing, including installations, licensing, regression, and manual tests.
What you'll need
Currently pursuing your 3rd year of study of an integrated master program in an engineering discipline (aeronautical, mechanical, or chemical).
Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, C#, Jscript, Python, FORTRAN).
Demonstrated interest in engineering simulation software, especially CFD.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proven problem-solving skills and commitment to seeing challenging tasks through to completion.
Inquisitive, proactive, and methodical approach to work.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
