As a Welding Process Specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in the development of welding processes to support series production.
What awaits you?
- Work environment – You will work in the Energy Module, which consists of highly automated production lines equipped with robots, where numerous new technologies are implemented.
- Team – You will work in a highly motivated production team of approximately 15 colleagues in the series assembly of the 6th generation energy module.
- Performing and contol of welding processes – Your task will be to perform and monitor welding processes to ensure strong, reliable, and high-quality joints and proper surface preparation and welding parameters for durable and safe welds.
- Quality assurance – You take responsibility for quality assurance in welding technology, including the use of destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
- Advanced welding techniques – You will apply advanced welding techniques and process technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in production. You also handle weld seam calculations and design considerations.
What should you bring along?
- Educational background – you hold a Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or any equivalent experience in a related field.
- Work experience – you have at least 3 years professional experience in the field of production with a very good understanding of manufacturing technology, e.g. in electromobilityand you also gained experienceas a welding specialist in production, ideally in an automated production environment.
- Work schedule – you are willing to work on-site during regular business hours. Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
- Language skills – English and Hungarian communication level language skills are needed. German language knowledge is an advantage.
- Soft skills – You are motivated and have a creative drive as well as assertiveness and initiative. You also hold high level of analytical skills and knowledge of problem-solving methods.
