What you'll do
As a VIS Supervisor in Final Assembly, you will lead a talented team of engineers, guiding your team in the application of final assembly tooling to ensure our tier 1 suppliers are adhering to GVOSS with final assembly tooling throughout design & build.
- Manage tier 1 tooling supplier compliance to GVOSS for
- Co-lead tooling buyoffs with M&E team and Tier 1s
- Manage supplier relations and expectations once awarded project with Ford
- Facilitate any necessary improvements between Ford and Teir 1 supplier partnerships
- Drive standardization for Final Assembly Tooling
What you need
To succeed in this role, you'll need hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering and strong leadership skills.
- B.S. Engineering- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience or similar related technical field; or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- 2+ years' experience in Mfg leadership capacity
