What you'll do
You'll lead one of our production teams within the shift system (5u55 – 21u45). You'll combine operational involvement with coordination and quality control. You're a key figure in ensuring a smooth, safe, and efficient production.
- Actively participate in daily production activities.
- Prioritize in consultation with the Plant Manager, with a focus on customer orientation.
- Monitor quality and continuity in the production process.
- Produce efficiently and fill according to existing instructions and safety standards, with a focus on a high FTPR.
- Back up production workers in case of absence.
- Coordinate preparatory tasks such as setting up additives and cleaning filters.
- Interpret and monitor KPIs to track performance.
- Work together with QC and planning for a smooth production flow.
- Provide daily feedback to operators.
- Be an interface outside office hours for internal and external contacts.
What you need
You're a hands-on leader who motivates and supports the team, with a keen eye for quality and efficiency. You combine technical knowledge with strong communication skills. You have multiple years of stable experience in a production environment, preferably in the chemical sector. You've successfully led a team at an operational level and know how to get people moving. You're a strong communicator and know how to coach colleagues in a supportive manner. You're a role model: reliable, honest, and respectful. You remain calm under pressure and think in solutions. You can switch between different tasks and prioritize well. You take the initiative, learn quickly, and aren't afraid of physical work. You have an excellent knowledge of computer programs and digital tools. You speak fluent Dutch and French to work well with your colleagues. You understand English to follow instructions and procedures correctly.
