What you'll do
You'll be responsible for design projects and related documentation of various components and assemblies.
- The design of gearbox and drive train components
- Responsibility for suspension design
- The chassis design, including roll cage and subframes, seat and safety equipment, dashboard, steering wheel and pedal box
- The integration design, considering following areas: engine cooling, fuel system, hydraulics, pneumatics HV systems including batteries and braking systems
- Supporting our automotive engineering prototype projects
What you need
You'll need a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
- Very good design skills in conjunction with good knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and materials
- Good knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- High level knowledge and relevant experience in motorsport parts layout and the design of high-performance components in the area of e.g. Rally, DTM, GT3, GT4
- Proficiency with CATIA V5: solids, surfaces & drafting, FEM and the classical calculation methods, data management systems (Teamcenter) and MS Office
