- Design advanced models and drawings of chassis, suspension or surface components with specialized softwares
- Assign, approve, perform or delegate designs as appropriate
- Liaise with the calculation engineer to optimize and verify the design
- Complete and release component designs and documentation, including drawings
- Close collaboration with other engineering departments and external suppliers to ensure fully integrated system designs, achieving optimal car performance
- Supporting all areas/departments in the design office when workloads dictate
What you need
To succeed in this role, you'll need hands-on experience in a comparable environment working with high performance parts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aeronautical engineering or similar background
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a comparable environment working with high performance parts
- Have a strong composites background with a solid understanding of materials science and mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Good knowledge of CAD (CATIA V5 preferable)
- Experience and knowledge of surface design is a plus
- Knowledge of PLM System (Windchill preferable)
